Harimau Muda 1 Sarawak 0

Enjoy the moment while you can, FELDA United and PKNS , because the champions are right behind you!!

Ong Kim Swee’s boys continued on their winning performance gained against Sabah in midweek with another scalp from Borneo, the Crocodiles found toothless in Stadium Hang Jebat.

Aziq Zikrie blasted in a 13th minute scorcher for a 1-0 lead which the Under-19 Tigers kept right till the final whistle, enabling them to overtake POS Malaysia into third place.

ATM 0 Sabah 1

The midweek’s massacre against Muar turned out to be a flash in the pan for the Army Men as in the familiarity of home, they shot themselves in the foot against a spirited Sabah side.

The MPS stadium saw ATM coach Zulhamizan Zakaria ending the match with an expression as gloomy as the overcast skies above him as the gap between his boys and the leaders grow ever further and further apart.

Shahzan Muda 1 Muar 0

Shahzan Muda did just enough against the league’s basement side, Muar as the East Coast side grabbed a 1-0 triumph to ease the pressure on their coach Tajuddin Noor.

Eswady Mokhtar swiveled in the penalty box before his 12th minute’s firm finish into the net ensured a happy ending for the home side in Darulmakmur.

PDRM 1 POS Malaysia 0

Not before time, finally perhaps the knock on the head of PDRM from last year’s Super League demotion begin to clear as they grabbed their virgin league win of the season in Tuanku Abdul Rahman

Coach K. Thayanathan will be pleased with the fact that this victory came against a side currently sitting pretty in third place, as it underlines the undoubted potential that his side readily possesses.

If the yet to be defeated PDRM get their act together, this year could really be one to remember for them. ___________________________________________________________________________________________
