LIGA HOKI SELANGOR 2009 - Week 7
A total of 11 matches was played over Week-7 of the Selangor Hockey League 2009 as the league is reaching an exciting ending.
In Division 2 SMKPP title challenge fizzled out as they lost unexpectedly to Polyteknik Shah Alam 1-2 and fellow title contenders SIA 1-2. SIA stretched their unbeaten streak to 8 games. RAMD Juniors the other unbeaten team on Division kept pace with SIA by overcoming SMKDJ.
These two teams will meet on the 19th November Thursday 8pm at Stadium Hockey Pandamaran where winner could walk away with the title.
In Division 1, RAMD who beat Projek 11-A 5-1 are not just one victory away form the Division 1 title. RAMD need only to beat OLAK to secure the 3 points and the Division 1 title.
UiTM & OLAK are also in the contention to win the title should RAMD lose or draw in their final match.
The Technical Committee also had confirmed the dates for the Quarterfinals on Dec 8 & 9, semi-finals Dec 15 & 16 and the finals is slated for Dec 20.
