Malaysia vs Kuwait tied at 1-1
After first day of competition, Malaysia won the first single through national champion Si Yew Ming, who defeated Kuwait’s Ahmad Rabeeca Muhammad 6-1, 6-4, 6-3.
However, in the second singles event of the day, host player Razlan Rawi after 3 hours and 10mins battle lost 1-6, 6-2, 4-6 and 4-6 against Kuwait’s top player Muhammed Ghareeb.
Yew Ming is set to partner seasoned player V.Selvam in the doubles event today (Saturday, 5pm).
Admission to the match at National Tennis Center in Jalan Duta, Kuala Lumpur is free.
