The heat is on as our national tennis star will battle it out with some of the finest names from Kuwait in the Davis Cup by BNP Paribas Tie Group II Asia/Oceania Zone 2009 from 10 to 12 July 2009 at the National Tennis Centre, Jalan Duta, Kuala Lumpur.

The host players feature the likes of former national champion Si Yew Ming, Adam Jaya, Razlan Rawi and Zainuddin Abd Hazli. Bot Yew Ming and Adam enjoyed memorable outings in the recent three legged Malaysia Open Dunlop F3 Futures with both players earning an ATP point each in the singles event.
A win against their Middle Eastern counterparts will ensure Malaysia stays in Group II.
