As expected, defending champion and No. 1 seed, Malaysia’s Lee Chong Wei qualified for the quarter-finals of the badminton’s French Open 2008, part of the Super Series tournament.
Day three today saw five Malaysian players, singles and doubles, advance to the quarter-finals. Beside Lee Chong Wei, Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boon Heong with Chin Eei Hui and Wong Pei Tty qualified as well for the men’s and women’s doubles respectively.
